Pat Fry to join Renault

Renault has announced that engineer Pat Fry will join the team for 2020.

The former McLaren and Ferrari desiger will return to Enstone to the team that he started his F1 career, working for Pat Symonds’s research and development department at Witney in 1987.

Fry will strengthen the technical team and work alongside Nick Chester.

Marcin Budkowski, Renault Sport’s Executive Director said, "I am delighted to be able to work with Pat again. His arrival is yet another step as we build and improve our team structure. Pat’s experience, talent and determination will be additional assets as we continue our progress."
