FIA president Max Mosley and Ferrari team boss Jean Todt had a quiet meeting earlier this week in Maranello to discuss the forthcoming meeting which will take place in London on January 15. Mosley is trying to gain support for plans to introduce cost-cutting measures despite opposition from some of the big teams. Mosley was accompanied on the trip by FIA technical delegate Charlie Whiting.

There are still no details of what Mosley intends to do and team bosses are increasingly curious to hear what is on the agenda for the meeting. The teams are expected to gather for a pre-meeting meeting in the morning before going on to talk to Mosley.
