Minardi strengthens technical team

PAUL STODDART, the boss of the European Minardi team, has signed up Dr. John Davies, the head of research and development from Arrows to head the Italian team's R&D and be deputy technical director. The 45-year-old Davis will be based at Minardi's British factory in Ledbury.

The team has also confirmed that all research and development operations will move from Faenza to Ledbury next year. The team has all the necessary equipment at the facility with a new half-scale rolling road windtunnel being finished later this year.
