BMW may already have the most powerful engine in F1 - with estimates of the horsepower ranging from 840-860. The company is not sitting on its recent success and a completely new V10 is about to begin testing in Barcelona with Antonio Pizzonia doing the initial shakedown work before handing the work over to Ralf Schumacher. The new V10 is being kept very secret at the moment but is understood to be smaller and lighter than the existing unit.
