CART team owners, drivers and engineers were in the F1 paddock at Indianapolis and some of them were very obviously looking for work. With the future of CART looking at best uncertain a number of engineers were spotted talking to F1 team owners, notably race engineer Steve Clark who was spotted in lengthy talks with Tom Walkinshaw. Clark has a long history in F1 but in recent seasons has been working with the PacWest CART team. Another man looking for work was Bruno Junqueira, who is expected to be dropped at the end of the year by Target Chip Ganassi Racing. The Brazilian is keen to get into F1.
