Schumacher junior has no intentions to follow brother's footsteps
RALF SCHUMACHER has said that he has no intentions of following in his brother Michael's footsteps by joining Ferrari.
The 25-year-old German, who is contracted to BMW-Williams until the end of the 2002 season, insisted that he is one of few Formula One drivers who have little intention to drive for the Italian marque.
"I am not one of the drivers whose dream is to drive a Ferrari," said Schumacher. "I'm happy with BMW.
"I have a job to finish here before I move anywhere else. Whenever I finish the job I will think about who I want to drive for."
But Schumacher admitted that he expects Ferrari to secure the constructors' championship in the Malaysian Grand Prix and add it to his brother's drivers' crown.
"We will see Ferrari win the constructors' title as well as the drivers'," he said. "They have done a far better job this year.
"Ferrari did not have many technical problems throughout the season and they have technically had the perfect car."
