GERMAN Heinz-Harald Frentzen has already put his disappointing season to the back of his mind - despite still having the Malaysian Grand Prix to race.

GERMAN Heinz-Harald Frentzen has already put his disappointing season to the back of his mind - despite still having the Malaysian Grand Prix to race.

The Jordan driver, who finished third in the drivers' championship last year, has been left unhappy at the team's performances this year.

But he has turned his attentions to 2001 and is confident he can help Jordan to challenge McLaren and Ferrari for honors next year when the Silverstone-based team will be powered by Honda works engines.

"I have had a few setbacks this season but I am very optimistic about next year," Frentzen said.

"We will be using a Honda works engine, which will undeniably provide us with more power to be competitive."
