Race preparations for Ferrari at Fiorano
MICHAEL SCHUMACHER continued to test the new F2001 at the Italian circuit of Fiorano on Wednesday as the team concluded preparations for the first race of the season.
The Italian team undertook seven pit stops during the day, and Schumacher put in 29 practice starts.
The world champion also had a successful day on the track, and completed 82 laps to set a fastest time of one minute 0.518 seconds.
There will be no shakedown for the spare car that the team will use at the first Grand Prix, and with the pre-season schedule complete, the cars will be flown out to Australia on Saturday.
