Eurobet confirms withdrawal from Arrows

ARROWS sponsor Eurobet, a subsidiary of the Morgan Grenfell-owned Coral betting company, has confirmed that it will not be supporting the Arrows team this year.

ARROWS sponsor Eurobet, a subsidiary of the Morgan Grenfell-owned Coral betting company, has confirmed that it will not be supporting the Arrows team this year. The news is not a surprise as Coral does not have the budget to continue and the Arrows deal last year was not exactly what the Eurobet management expected. It seems that the company expected to be the Arrows team's title sponsor but that Orange took that role. Eurobet was the title sponsor of the Arrows Formula 3000 team but clearly this was not enough to keep the company in F1 this year.
