Gary Anderson reappears
DUMPED by Jaguar Racing in December, Gary Anderson has been keeping a low profile in recent months, taking a much-needed rest after a difficult 2000 season with the team.
DUMPED by Jaguar Racing in December, Gary Anderson has been keeping a low profile in recent months, taking a much-needed rest after a difficult 2000 season with the team. There have been rumors that Anderson may go to Arrows but it is hard to see how he would fit in with the current technical director Mike Coughlan. Anderson has been talking for some time about leaving Formula 1 and enjoying himself and this may mean that he will return to America where he enjoyed a period engineering Roberto Moreno with the Galles team in the mid 1980s.
Anderson was in America at the weekend, engineering a Porsche 911 in the Daytona 24 Hours. The car was being driven by Kyle Petty, Leo Hendry, Gian Luigi Buitoni and Peter Baron.
