Camathias to CART
Dale Coyne Racing has announced that it has signed a deal with Swiss driver Joel Camathias to race in CART next year. Camathias tested for the team at Sebring a month ago and now appears to have come up with the money for a full season in 2003.
Camathias has raced in recent years in the Formula Nissan series in Spain. He did try a season of Formula 3000 in 2001 but did not make much of an impression. This year he had just a few Formula 3000 outings but again without making much of an impact.
CART has promised a new look in 2003 with exciting new teams and new drivers.
