Bell scheduled for Minardi test

As expected, American Townsend Bell will test for Minardi later this month. The ex-CART driver has F1 aspirations after being replaced at Patrick Racing in July because the team felt he was too reckless.

Formula One is realizing the advertising opportunities available in America. Bell will will be the second American to test for Minardi when he runs at the Mugello circuit in the week following the Italian GP. American Bryan Herta tested for the Italian team last month.
