Toro Rosso adds to technical staff

Scuderia Toro Rosso has announced the additions of Luca Furbatto and Jon Tomlinson to it's technical staff today.

39-year-old Italian Fubatto worked at McLaren since 2000 and was the Head of Stress Analysis and Materials, before becoming the Assistant Project Leader on this year's McLaren F1 car. He will take over the role of Chief Designer at Toro Rosso, reporting to Technical Director Giorgio Ascanelli. The current Chief Designer, Ben Butler is leaving the team next April to return to Red Bull Technology.

38-year-old Englishman Tomlison was the Jead pf Aerodynamics at Williams since 2007, before that working at Jordan and Renault. He joins the wind tunnel team in Bicester as Deputy Head of Aerodynamics under Nicolo Petrucci.
