TOM WALKINSHAW, the boss of the Arrows F1 team, is in the process of hiring new design engineers to strengthen his team at the new TWR F1 headquarters at Leafield, in England.

TOM WALKINSHAW, the boss of the Arrows F1 team, is in the process of hiring new design engineers to strengthen his team at the new TWR F1 headquarters at Leafield, in England. At the moment the team is very short of well-known designers, although technical director Frank Dernie, chief engineer Paul Bowen and race engineers Allan Macdonald and Rod Nelson are all very talented. The team is soon to be joined by Ligier's Steve Clark who is expected to work in R&D with Dernie.

We hear, however, that Walkinshaw has recruited a couple of other well-known names to join the team, but these cannot be made public as the people in question are currently working with other teams. The most likely target for his recruitment program will be Benetton for which he recruited a lot of engineers when he was running the engineering side of the team between 1991 and 1994.
