Villeneuve and Pollock stage 24-hour ski race for charity
JACQUES VILLENEUVE will join forces with his former Williams team-mate Damon Hill this weekend to participate in a 24-hour ski race for charity.
Villeneuve and Hill, who were team-mates at Williams when Hill won the world championship in 1996, will both take part in the event at Villars in Switzerland in aid of the Formula Charity.
Formula Charity is run by Canadian driver Villeneuve and his manager and boss at British American Racing Craig Pollock and the now retired Hill has joined the pair as a guest and sponsor this year.
Villeneuve and Pollock first met in the ski resort of Villars and are now close friends as well as colleagues.
Last year, the 24-hour ski race raised 100,000 (Swiss Francs) for charity and this year all funds will go to three charities - L'Esperance, Le Foyer and The Round Square Association.
