Jarno Trulli and Toyota have announced that they are to stay together until the end of the 2009 season. The deal will probably take the 32-year-old Italian to the end of his F1 career and he will be hoping that the team will finally begin to get the results to match the investment made by the Japanese car manufacturer.

"I am 100% sure of Toyota's potential and of its chances of challenging for the Formula 1 World Championship," Trulli said. "I am therefore more than happy to continue my excellent relationship with the team into the longer term and to try to achieve our common goals."
