Toyota launching at Ricard on January 8
The Panasonic Toyota team will be launching its 2003 challenge at the Paul Ricard circuit near Toulon on January 8. The team will unveil the new TF103 and introduce its new driver line-up of Olivier Panis and CART champion Cristiano da Matta.
The team did a good solid job in its first season in F1, rather better than the critics had imagined would be the case but the Toyota chassis proved to be raather difficult to set-up and the major push in recent months has been to build a better car for next year when the team hopes to move into the second rank of teams on the F1 grid.
