Tilke goes to Bangalore
Hermann Tilke, the man who designs most of the Formula 1 circuits these days, has been visiting the city of Bangalore in India to inspect a site which the local government is considering turning into a Formula 1 racing facility.
The pair met with state government officials from various departments and the state's chief minister S M Krishna. They are trying to convince the local authorities that a race in the area could be a major boost for tourism in the region.
