Schumacher victorious again

WORLD CHAMPION Michael Schumacher has tasted victory again after he led a soccer team comprising of motor racing stars to triumph against an all-star opposition in a charity match in Padua, Italy.

Schumacher, who secured Ferrari's first world drivers' title in 21 years last month, scored in a 5-3 win as 8000 passionate fans turned out in heavy rain to support the event at the Bruno Longhi Stadium.

The German was joined in his team by fellow Formula One drivers Giancarlo Fisichella of Benetton and Jean Alesi of Prost. Motorbike racer Max Biaggi also played for Schumacher's team.

All proceeds from the match will go towards four charities - Plan Telefood, Ail, City of Hope and Kinder Not.
