MICHAEL SCHUMACHER was presented with his prize for lifting the Formula One World Championship at the Federation Internationale de l'Automobile's annual end-of-season ceremony in Monaco on Friday.

The German secured the third title of his career - his other two came with Benetton in 1994 and 1995 - and Ferrari's first for 21 years as he prevented Mika Hakkinen from winning a third successive title.

Former Williams test driver Bruno Junqueira, who will compete in America's Champ Car Series in 2001, was presented with his prize after he claimed the Formula 3000 Championship with Super Nova.
