Sauber sign new partnership deal with Credit Suisse
SAUBER announced on Wednesday a new partnership deal with leading financial services company Credit Suisse.
The Swiss-based Sauber team have joined forces with compatriot company Credit Suisse, who join Petronas and Red Bull as major partners in the team.
"I have always aimed at a partnership with a Swiss group and this long-cherished dream has come true now," said Sauber chairman Peter Sauber. "I have always seen myself as a Swiss entrepreneur and remained loyal to Switzerland.
"When a company like Credit Suisse joins us and identifies itself with our team it is in honour of our achievements and reflects our mutual desire to reach common goals."
Sauber have changed their driver line-up from 2000, with Mika Salo and Pedro Diniz replaced with Nick Heidfeld and Kimi Raikkonen.
Heidfeld, 23, and Raikkonen, 21, complete the youngest team line-up on the grid for the 2001 season but Sauber is confident they will perform well.
He added: "Two young and promising drivers and a new solid partnership is a strong incentive and will boost the motivation of our team."
