Jerez test ends with Badoer on top
FERRARI test driver Luca Badoer narrowly outpaced British American Racing's Olivier Panis to top the times on the final day of a three-day test at Jerez on Wednesday.
The Italian driver, who was confirmed as Ferrari's official tester for another season on Tuesday, posted a quickest lap time of one minute and 22.783 seconds as he continued work on electronics in his 104-lap program.
Frenchman Panis was one-tenth of a second slower than Badoer while Formula One newcomer Kimi Raikkonen, almost a second down on Badoer, was third quickest in his Sauber ahead of the BAR of Jacques Villeneuve.
