British American Racing managing director Craig Pollock has re-ignited speculation that CART team boss Barry Green is set to join the Formula One outfit after he admitted he has been in talks with the Team Kool Green boss.

Pollock has been at the center of rumors that suggested he could be replaced by Green after a relatively disappointing two seasons in Formula One.

"I have known Barry for a long time and he has been a very good friend," said Pollock. "We have spent quite a lot of time together in the last two days.

"Literally in the last two years we have discussed many new projects together and we continue to carry on discussing them. That is all I can really say."

BAR driver Jacques Villeneuve is a close friend of Pollock and has insisted in the past that he will leave if Pollock is ousted.
