Ferrari confirm Prost engine deal

Ferrari announced on Friday that they will supply Prost Grand Prix with engines for the 2001 Formula One World Championship.

Prost were forced to negotiate a two-year deal with Ferrari as they ended their association with French manufacturer Peugeot after a disappointing season this year.

Ferrari already supply engines to Sauber and will now stretch their resources to another team.

Prost will confirm the deal themselves later today (Friday).
