Giorgio Pantano was out testing for Jordan on Tuesday at Jerez, underlining the likelihood that he will be joining the the Silverstone as Nick Heidfeld's team mate this year.

Giorgio Pantano was out testing for Jordan on Tuesday at Jerez, underlining the likelihood that he will be joining the the Silverstone as Nick Heidfeld's team mate this year. The team is in the final stages of negotiations with Pantano and we are told that all that remains is for the Italian's sponsors to come up with the necessary guarantees to secure the drive. This was due to happen on Monday but has been delayed.
