No decision expected about Italian GP until later today
NO decision about whether or not the Italian Grand Prix at Monza will go ahead this weekend is likely until tonight as the FIA President Max Mosley is currently on a airplane, returning to Europe from the FIA Congress of the America's in Lima, Peru.
Mosley is not expected to be back in Britain until late afternoon, although he may be able to discuss the matter with his advisors when he has an enforced stopover in Madrid on the way back to London. For the moment at least it looks as though there is no practical reason why the race should not go ahead but it remains to be seen whether the Formula 1 world wants to go ahead with the event from a political point of view.
