Luca di Montezemolo is going to be a busy man as he is to stay on as chairman of Ferrari in addition to running Italy's industrial federation Confindustria and being chairman of the entire Fiat group. Montezemolo says that he will play a supportive role to Fiat's new chief executive Sergio Marchionne but will not be running the whole company on a daily basis. Montezemolo wants to use the reflected glory of the success of Ferrari-Maserati to boost the image of Fiat Auto, which owns the Alfa Romeo, Lancia, Fiat and Innocenti brands.
