Michael Schumacher has always been a big soccer fan and so the invitation to play with some of the modern football greats in a match to raise money for charity was an temptation he could not refuse.
Michael Schumacher has always been a big soccer fan and so the invitation to play with some of the modern football greats in a match to raise money for charity was an temptation he could not refuse, and Michael headed off to Porto in Portugal where he joined the United Nations children's agency UNICEF side in a match with the Luis Figo Foundation.
Schumacher played for both sides in the course of the match, switching sides at half time played alongside some of soccer's biggest names including Zinedine Zidane and Brazil's Ronaldo.
The Luis Figo Foundation helps disadvantaged children by giving them opportunities to play sport.
