The McDonald's fast food company is back in racing for a three-race sponsorship of Sebastien Bourdais in CART. The deal has been stitched together by team owner Paul Newman who in recent months began supplying McDonald's with his Newman's Own salad dressings. McDonald's was previously involved in CART as a sponsor of Jerry Forsythe's third car but withdrew a couple of years ago. The McDonald's deal may be a toe-in-the-water exercise for the future but for the moment will be just for the Cleveland, Denver and Miami events.
