McLaren, Canon Europe extend partnership

McLaren-Mercedes announced Sunday that Canon Europe has extended their partnership with the Woking-based team.

MCLAREN-MERCEDES announced Sunday that Canon Europe has extended their partnership with the Woking-based team. The multi-year deal will see Canon Europe continue as the official supplier of imaging solutions for the team, including supplying equipment for the team's new communications center.

McLaren announced just days ago that news service provider Bloomberg would be providing services for the new communications center, which debuted at this weekend's San Marino GP.

Ron Dennis commented on the deal, "It's always satisfying when our partners want to extend their relationship with the company. Canon Europe is becoming the world leader in their market sector and we are looking forward to continue to utilize their advanced technology. Canon has been an essential partner in providing leading edge technological equipment to our new communication center which allows the West McLaren Mercedes team to enhance internal and external communication at the track."
