McLaren and Siemens discuss extending their sponsorship

Siemens has become a big player in Formula 1 in recent years and the company is now in the process of renegotiating its sponsorship deal with the McLaren team, which ends this year after a very successful five year partnership.

SIEMENS has become a big player in Formula 1 in recent years and the company is now in the process of renegotiating its sponsorship deal with the McLaren team, which ends this year after a very successful five year partnership. The signs are that the German information technology company will sign a new contract as Siemens sources say the sponsorship has been very successful.

Siemens is also the official technology supplier for the Formula 1 circus, supplying hardware and software for each Grand Prix.
