Massa and Ferrari

Although Felipe Massa does not have a drive for next year and says that he has no long-term claims on his talents, it is fairly clear that Ferrari has taken a close interest in the Brazilian and might even be convinced to sign him up as a test driver for next season. Massa may not be smoothest of drivers but he is quick and according to F1 logic it is better to have a wild youngster who can calm down rather than a driver who will never get up to speed.

At the moment Ferrari has Luca Badoer and Luciano Burti as its test drivers but it is quite possible that the team might decide to take Massa as well.
