Michael Schumacher's contract with Ferrari runs out at the end of 2004 and there is speculation in Germany that Michael may be negotiating an extension to the deal, to take him up to 2006 when he would retire. Schumacher has denied stories saying that he has been offered a $144m deal for the 2004 and 2005 seasons.

Michael's manager Willi Weber says that no talks have yet taken place.
