Mansell voted top Brit in Formula One
NIGEL MANSELL has been voted Britain's most favorite motor racing icon in a recent fans' poll.
The 1992 Grand Prix champion beat 1996 title winner Damon Hill and triple champion Jackie Stewart to the top honor in the survey, conducted by motoring company Green Flag.
But the man dubbed as Mansell's future successor, Jenson Button, was tenth with just 3 percent of the votes, and was behind playboy Ulsterman Eddie Irvine in the standings.
