Frentzen looking to forget about injury
THE Canadian Grand Prix will see Heinz-Harald Frentzen return to the cockpit just one week after being forced to sit out a test session through repercussions of a crash.
The German Jordan driver hit his head when he crashed into the barriers inside Monaco's high-speed tunnel, and he was sent home to rest when he suffered problems in the test session the following week.
But the check up revealed Frentzen clear from injury but he was told to rest until travelling to Canada.
The team says he will leave for the circuit as normal and Frentzen is trying to put it all behind him as he concentrates on the next race.
"I always look forward to Montreal," said Frentzen. "I really like the city and it has a fantastic atmosphere."
But Frentzen erred on the side of caution by adding: "The last chicane can be a little dangerous as there is a concrete wall on the exit so you have to be careful."
Meanwhile, team-mate Jarno Trulli is expecting a good result this weekend despite suffering disappointing results in the last two races.
Italian Trulli believes his current car is one of the best he has driven and he believes it will be suited to the challenges of the Montreal circuit.
"Our car always performs well here," said Trulli. "So hopefully we can achieve even better results than before as we seem to have a good package with the EJ11.
"Canada is a very high speed track that I really do like, and it's particularly important to have a good car balance at this circuit as it's so hard on the brakes."
