Malaysian GP management unchanged

Although the Sepang International Circuit has been sold by the Malaysian Airports Holdings company to the Malaysian government it seems that the change will not have any effect at all on the running of the event.

Although the Sepang International Circuit has been sold by the Malaysian Airports Holdings company to the Malaysian government it seems that the change will not have any effect at all on the running of the event. The same team will run the circuit as was the case under MAH with Tan Sri Basir remaining in charge.

The sale of the circuit was basically designed to unlock shareholder value in MAH and to free the company from long-term investments which generate low returns and have dragged the company down in value as a result.
