Irvine fails to give Jaguar a boost

JAGUAR RACING's Eddie Irvine was one of the presenters at the annual Brit Awards in London, presenting Australian Kylie Minogue with an award for the Best International Album in 2001. In the course of the televised event Irvine was asked by presenter Zoe Ball whether his car would be fast this year. Rather than mouthing the usual platitudes, Irvine replied: "Next question".

Jaguar Racing is trying to talk up the performance of the Jaguar R3 which has not shown well in testing and hopes that aerodynamic developments will improve the car. Irvine clearly does not think so...
