How NASCAR does business
The start of a new season is always a time when there is a great deal of media interest in the sport.
This year's NASCAR Media Tour is a five-day affair with visits to the big teams, launches, interview opportunities, entertainment and a symposium called "The Business of Motorsports".
This is not expected to dwell much on the affairs of the rest of the world...
Formula 1 has yet to adopt as enlightened an attitude towards the media.
