Honda has already tested its 2005 V10 engine on the dynos at the company's Research & Development headquarters in Tochigi, Japan. The new engine will be used to power next year's BAR. The V10 will be lower, lighter and more powerful than the existing unit which is now widely regarded as being the best engine in F1 at the moment, even if it is still fairly unreliable.
