Hamilton and Spyker

There is an interesting report today in Holland that Michiel Mol of Spyker tried to sign Lewis Hamilton on a long-term deal, offering him $10m for the drive. Mol was bargaining on McLaren not taking the risk to run Hamilton and was presumably bargaining on Hamilton either helping the team to improve while learning the ropes in F1 or of keeping Lewis for a couple of years and then selling the contract on to a bigger team.
If anyone had any doubts about the ambitions down at Spyker, this story should deal with that.
