Hakkinen to start fourth?

Mika Hakkinen is expected to start from fourth on grid of the United States Grand Prix despite having qualified second on the grid.

MIKA HAKKINEN is expected to start from fourth on grid of the United States Grand Prix despite having qualified second on the grid. The Finn ran into trouble on race morning when he went through a red light at the exit of the pitlane. The stewards of the meeting decided that the infraction was serious enough to warrant having his fastest lap in qualifying cancelled. This means that Hakkinen will drop to fourth , promoting Ralf Schumacher to second and Juan Pablo Montoya to third. McLaren has time to protest the decision before the official grid is issued. This has to be done 45 minutes before the start of the race.
