Gabriele Tredozi leaves Toro Rosso

The takeover of Minardi by Red Bull was always going to lead to staff changes at the Italian team as the plan from the start was for Scuderia Toro Rosso to have its chassis designed by Red Bull Racing in England (when that becomes legal in 2008).

The takeover of Minardi by Red Bull was always going to lead to staff changes at the Italian team as the plan from the start was for Scuderia Toro Rosso to have its chassis designed by Red Bull Racing in England (when that becomes legal in 2008). This meant that there would be little apart from manufacturing for the people in Faenza and so it is no surprise that the former technical director of the team Gabriele Tredozi has departed. Tredozi has been in charge of design at Minardi for almost 10 years, having moved into the position when Aldo Costa moved to Ferrari back in 1997.

Tredozi has been with the team since he graduated from the celebrated engineering school at Bologna University.
