Ferrari, Williams and Sauber continue testing

Ferrari, Williams and Sauber all continued testing on Friday at different circuits.

Ferrari test driver Luca Badoer tested for the fourth day in a row at Fiorano. The Italian completed 74 laps while working on electronics development and tire evaluation. Badoer and Ferrari will continue testing on Saturday.

Ralf Schumacher and the Williams-BMW team tested in Estoril on Friday. He took over from Marc Gene, who was behind the wheel Wednesday and Thursday conducting tire testing for Michelin, as well as chassis and engine testing. The team also tested new talent during the three days at Estoril. Antonio Pizzonia and Ricardo Sperafico, the Petrobras Junior Team drivers, each spent a day lapping in a FW23.

Sauber was also in action on Friday at Mugello. Nick Heidfeld continued development of the C20 for the second day in a row. Friday wrapped up four days of scheduled testing for Sauber, during which young Brazilian Felipe Massa drove a Formula One car for the first time, running Tuesday and Wednesday.
