Ferrari reported to be working on new titanium gearbox
FERRARI are reported to be working on a titanium gearbox, which will be this year's major innovation for the championship-winning team.
A French company is currently carrying out work in secret on the new compact ultra-light gearbox, which is scheduled to be ready in July or August.
The Maranello-based team has already used this solution on its Formula One cars before but more recently a titanium gearbox was fitted to last year's Minardi.
