Ecclestone wins press complaint
The Mail on Sunday is ruled to have breached the Press Complaints Commission's Code of Practice last summer when it published an article about Bernie Ecclestone, which portrayed the F1 boss as a battered husband. The article was based on information supplied to the paper by a former boyfriend of Ecclestone's daughter.
The newspaper argued that the Ecclestones are public figures who have already given details of their private lives through a series of interviews which they had previously done.
