CSS Stellar reports increased profits

CSS Stellar, the sports and entertainment management group, which is heavily involved in Grand Prix racing has just reported a first half profit of over $1m on a turnover of $10m.

CSS STELLAR, the sports and entertainment management group, which is heavily involved in Grand Prix racing has just reported a first half profit of over $1m on a turnover of $10m. The company which is run by Ayrton Senna's former manager Julian Jakobi was floated on the AIMS stock exchange late last year.

The business looks after the careers of Jaguar Racing's Pedro de la Rosa, CART's Dario Franchitti, rallying ace Richard Burns and motorcycling champion Max Biaggi in addition to a number other rising stars, notably CART's Oriol Servia, British Indy Lights racer Daniel Wheldon and Toyota Motorsport's Allan McNish. CSS Stellar has very close links with Prost Grand Prix, looking after a lot of the business interests of the team, while also acting as a sponsor-hunter for team such as Arrows and Williams. CSS Stellar was behind the three-year deal between Arrows and Orange and was also involved in the Williams-Reuters deal.

CSS Stellar is involved in four other areas including soccer, golf, tennis and entertainment, managing media personalities such as Anne Robinson, presenter of the hugely-successful TV show "The Weakest Link", Michael Parkinson, Shirley Bassey and the Olympic rowing champion Sir Steven Redgrave.
