Burti to continue with Ferrari

Luciano Burti will continue as Ferrari's second test driver in 2004. Burti was taken on by Ferrari in 2002 but the team's expansion of its testing capabilities meant that he was joined last year in the role by Felipe Massa.

Luciano Burti will continue as Ferrari's second test driver in 2004. Burti was taken on by Ferrari in 2002 but the team's expansion of its testing capabilities meant that he was joined last year in the role by Felipe Massa. Now that Felipe has gone to Sauber Burti's role is expected to increase although Ferrari has let it be known that both Sauber drivers will probably test its cars his year.

The contract is such that Burti can continue to race and test in other series and it is believed that Luciano is talking about racing in America if a deal can be put together.
