BRAZILIAN Rubens Barrichello finalized Ferrari's seven-day test at Mugello as he finally performed the long-distance run planned for Saturday.

Barrichello covered a total of 63 laps on Sunday as he put the F2001 through its paces on the long-distance run which wet weather prevented him from performing on Saturday.

He posted a quickest lap time of one minute and 25.739 seconds in the car which featured the same engine used on Saturday. The engine has now clocked up over 450 kilometers without any technical problems.

"I am pleased with the work we have done today," Barrichello said. "After two days running on a damp track, I finally managed to run continuously on a dry circuit. It has increased my confidence with the new car.

"Tomorrow I will be at Fiorano for a test with the F2000 and then on Tuesday I will return to Mugello to continue development work with the F2001."
