RUBENS BARRICHELLO clocked a sub-one minute time in testing at Ferrari's Fiorano circuit as he worked on electronics development on Wednesday.

The Italian team ran two cars at the circuit as test driver Luca Badoer also tested electronics but also worked with Bridgestone on tire development.

Barrichello's time of 59.560 seconds beat Badoer's best of one minute 00.032 seconds, and he was delighted by his performance.

"The track temperature was very high so I didn't think it would be possible to do any very quick lap times," he said. "However, the car was going very well and I managed to do the best lap for this track."
