Barrichello and Ralf warned over collision
AFTER colliding for the second successive race, Rubens Barrichello and Ralf Schumacher have been warned over their future conduct.
Ferrari's Barrichello and BMW-Williams driver Ralf Schumacher collided in Brazil on Sunday, just two weeks after they came together in Malaysia, and the duo have been warned over their actions.
Brazilian Barrichello's race was ended on lap three while Schumacher rejoined the race down the field after damage repairs before eventually retiring late in the race.
"Having heard the competitors' representatives and the drivers' explanations, the stewards decided that the matter was a racing incident," a official FIA statement read.
"However, the stewards expressed concern as to the driving standards of both drivers and warned them of their future conduct."
Both drivers had called for the sport's governing body to clarify rules on drivers changing lines, as neither accepted blame for the collision.
